    Q: Where did you work before this, what experience do you have from there?

    A: I worked as an insurance claims rep and held a couple of tech and desktop support roles. I realized I loved software way more than trouble shooting hardware issues and focused more on programming.

    Q: What is your career focus?

    A: I’m currently working towards a degree in computer engineering, aiming towards a career in software development.

    Q: What do you believe your best strength is within the company?

    A: My resilience.

    Q: How would you describe yourself with three words?

    A: Awesome, adventurous, savage!

    Q: How would your friends describe you?

    A: Assertive, confident, and spontaneous.

    Q: What is currently your computer background?

    A: Oregon Trail meets 2018 Mean Girls edition.

    Q: If money didn’t matter, what would you do all day?

    A: Travel on random global adventures, work on building affordable housing in better neighborhoods, and work on teaching my daughter, Mieko, and other little girls some dope coding and crazy robotics skills. I’d also chill on a secluded beach somewhere warm with cocktails.

    Q: What is your biggest pet peeve?

    A: Having other people bleed their own insecurities on me. ????????

    Q: What makes you bored?

    A: Doing homework for subjects I’m not very interested in, and the prospect of cleaning dishes…

    Q: Tell me about something you would happily do again.

    A: Turn 18.

    Q: What are your three most overused words or phrases?

    A: Dope, Frack, and Grody.

    Q: What are two things you have with you at all times?

    A: My cellphone and a book.

    Q: How would you define success?

    A: By being happy, being a great mother, by always willing to challenge myself and my ideals.

    Q: What advice would you give to your 18 year old self?

    A: Your “self” is constantly evolving–don’t get caught up in who you think you should be or wish you were, instead never forget where you’re going. Everything falls into place, even when it feels like you’re standing in the middle of a wreck.

    Q: What is the first thing on your bucket list?

    A: I haven’t had a bucket list since I was 17 and it included making out with Jeff Goldblum and getting on TRL…not too sure I’m good at these.

    Q: Favorite activities on your day off?

    A: Sleeping, shopping, reading, spontaneous adventures out of town, driving to NYC for Krispy Kreme donuts and White Castle, and baking with my dughter, Mieko.

    Q: What is one thing you can’t live without?

    A: Indoor plumbing.

    Q: What does true leadership mean to you?

    A: Equal doses respect, giving breathing room to explore, problem solve, and make mistakes, but also encouraging and celebrating small victories.
